HALF MARATHON 21K ROUTE CHANGE

The Liguria Region has announced that, on June 3rd, works will begin on demolishing and rebuilding the bridge over the Argentina stream along the cycle path. This will interrupt the cycle path between the towns of Taggia and Riva Ligure.
The Sanremo Marathon Organizing Committee is currently working on designing an alternative route and has already submitted the new official certification request to the Italian Athletics Federation.

The new half marathon route will include:

Start at the Sanremo Athletics Track – Strada Grande Torino (instead of San Lorenzo al Mare)

Route along the cycle path to Arma di Taggia

Turnaround point

Return along the cycle path to the Ospedaletti tunnel

Turnaround point

Finish at the Sanremo Athletics Track

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony for the overall winners of all three races will take place upon completion of the men’s and women’s half marathon podium.

It will be possible to collect the podium diploma for the half-marathon categories and take a souvenir photo near the prize-giving stage until the race time limit is reached.
