The date of the third edition of the “Run for the Whales” scheduled for 23 June in San Remo is getting near. This running event, apart from its sporting dimension, aims to celebrate the whales and the Sanctuary of Cetaceans by supporting their research and conservation activities at the Tethys Institute.
Participating in the Run for the Whales actually supports research being done on cetaceans in our seas, because a part of the registration fee will be donated to the Tethys ONLUS Institute that has studied and monitored various cetacean populations for over 30 years.
Registration is open on the website where you can book the shuttle bus that will take the athletes to the starting positions. The event can also be found on Facebook and on Twitter.
